The images on either side show the book created in order to document Berlin. The book was made from parcel paper and rope. It was incredibly tactile and at the same time, intimate. The stories written on the back of the postcards were fictional stories of families affected by the separation of East and West Germany. One postcard was written from the perspective of when the country was divided, and the reply was written with a current perspective. There were images I had taken for the current postcards, and collected images from the relevant year for the old postcards. This book was hand made with care and attention, which made for an enchanting result.

This is an image of the leaflet created as part of a college project. The images used were taken by myself and put together to create an imaginative and innovative result. The leaflet began with a picture of the outside of the building and as the leaflet was opened and unfolded the entire museum was explored. It is an informative and creative leaflet.
